Learn how Walmart & Eagle Mountain
thrive together.
A Walmart closer to home
A new retail development has been proposed along Spring Run Parkway and Highway 73 that—if approved—would bring a new Walmart Supercenter to Eagle Mountain.
This new store will help the community by providing convenient one-stop shopping for our city’s families and help spur needed economic development within our city.
Over the past 12 months, Eagle Mountain residents have spent approximately $45 million at Walmart stores located outside of the city. A new store would keep those tax dollars to support vital city services in Eagle Mountain.
A new Walmart Supercenter would:
- Hire approximately 300 associates to work at the store
- Allow Eagle Mountain to keep lost tax revenues that currently leave the City
- Help fund critical city services like police and fire protection, as well as education, libraries, and parks
- Encourage new businesses to locate in Eagle Mountain
- Increase access to affordable groceries, as well as everyday merchandise like apparel, electronics, household goods, and tens of thousands of other products
New revenues for important city services
